Moving to Broomfield, CO from FL and need tips

Hey everyone.

 

I am moving from Orlando, FL to Broomfield, CO in a couple of weeks. I was hoping to get some tips on how to find the best rates in the area, what are the best nearby courses, and recommendations on the best practice facilities in the area.

 

I'll be living on the course at Eagle Trace if that helps as far as location but I don't mind driving a bit for a good practice facility.

Eagle Trace has a tiny range; like 5-10 spots if that. You always hit off of matts and into a lake, so find a different course for practice.

In Broomfield/Westminster some courses that come to mind are Broadlands, Omni Interlocken, Hyland Hills. I typically use golfnow.com to get discounted tee times.

Denver metro has a bunch of courses. Look at some other posts in this Rockies forum for a nice list and breakdown of local courses.

Welcome to Colorado!! Lots of nice courses around you. Colorado national also has a nice practice facility.

Thanks, I figured Colorado National would be good for practice. Do you know if they have any good deals on range passes?

I have used GolfNow in Orlando a lot but I have also used GroupGolfer and DealCaddie as well. Are there any other good site for low rates?
