So I've been working on my golf swing a lot over the weeks...

Michel,

I can give you a little bit of help... I hope so at least. I would say that your posture is pretty good. Those clubs look like they might just be a fraction too long and heavy for you, but there is a pretty easy way to make a slight correction for that. Try gripping down on the handle a couple of inches. The clubs will feel immediately lighter and much more in control. This will also help with the longer clubs a little, too.

The next thing I would start working on is getting two adjustments going in the swing, Lets cover the one that's a little easier to get built right into a swing pretty quickly. Watch your downswing and pay attention to the right elbow as you swing through impact. Notice how that elbow is a touch behind the hip bone through impact? Well a good goal would be getting that elbow to work more in front of the right hip before you release the club through the shot. You could google the right elbow and golf swing... and you will see lots of things on the web about this. I believe you could get that one built into your swing too and it will give you a little more distance and control without even swinging a bit harder.

The next one is going to take a little more time.. or at least it does for many people. As you swing the club back pay attention to your left wrist. Notice how as it moves back there is a little bending back of that left wrist as it passes by the camera. What I would practice is to get that wrist flattened out a little more while making sure at the top of the backswing, that wrist is flat, and the RIGHT wrist has a little bit of that bend in it. If at the top of the backswing that right elbow were basically hanging straight down under the shaft... it would pretty easily get in front of the right hip bone and those wrists could just go for a nice ride like there are at the top almost all the way to the ball... and the hands could simply unhinge without feeling like you are throwing this big heavy "thing" AT the ball. You could just unhinge the wrists and hands "through" the ball.

Good luck with it. A little choke-down.... a little right elbow/hip tune-up.... and some time getting the wrists working a touch better. That's about it and good luck. Have fun with it.

[/quote]Thank you very much. I didn't expect a detailed reply. At the time I posted this, my right elbow was what I was working on. I was trying to get it near to my body, as my last swing, it was far away. I'll work on these two things next. Thank you!

Reasonability, I don´t think I ever seen anyone on any forum spend as much time giving people as detailed answers in such a nice tone. Thank you, it´s very nice to see!

Erik that is the kindest thing to hear. Thank you so much. I get great joy out of seeing others play well and curb at least some of the frustrations of this crazy game. I was the hardest working high handicapper for years and practiced so hard I damaged by back (badly) in the 1990s. If I can spare one golfer that sort of pain and frustration... its worth it. Thanks again for your kindness!

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
