20XI*X Balls

I luckily have a friend with a bit of an in, and he gave me a sleeve of the 20XI*X tour balls from Nike. Anybody game these? I realize they are a couple years old at this point, but curious if anyone has played with these and what their thoughts are. I played the normal 20XI-X's the first year they came out, then switched away from the X to the Non X 20XI last year. Thought that was an awesome ball. I initially went to the RZN Black this year and didn't like it as much as last year's 20XI. Will be trying the RZN Platinum on my next ball purchase.

Regardless of my ball woes, what are the thoughts out there on the 20XI*X?

It has a really soft feel off the tee and is great around the greens as well.its definitely a great ball to play, especially for the more advanced player.

My 2 cents: I bought a bunch of these at golf show over the Winter. Great price. Told my buddy who is in the Golf Business about the great deals I got and he basically told me "Good ball but not very long." He was Spot On. By the time I was about out of my stock I, frankly, couldn't wait for them to end up in the water or woods. Back to Pro V1 now......

I bought a bunch of dozens and been playing it all season, I like it a lot. Not that short I think, but I haven´t put it side to side to anything else either. Stops good on approaches too.

It is a slightly higher spinning ball off of the driver. VERY hard to obtain. Quite a few PGA and Web.com players used this ball. Insane amount of spin around the greens. Def. should have made it to retail. With that being said, some of the Srixon variants should have made it to retail too, but that is another thread altogether.

Right...read the OP a bit sloppy I guess, was the 20XI-X I had...lol, sorry!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to play them tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see how they compare to the RZN Black and 20XI from last year. I really like the idea of the X guts with the S cover.
