Experienced Golfers: How to attend a Professional Golf Tournament?

What Practise day is the best to attend?

I'm not interested in watching the 4 rounds of the actual game because I feel that I can see the game better in televised coverage. However, I'm interested in attending the practise round and I was wondering which day is the best to attend (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday).

Basically, I want to see my favorite players hit the ball up close (Tiger, Ernie, Phil, Vijay, Luke etc.) and I want to know which day has the best chance of all of them practising. I figure on Monday not all the players will show up for a practise round because some of them may be tired from their flight. Is my assumption correct? If so, is it Tuesday or Wednesday?

Tuesday, not everyones there by Monday,and Tiger always plays ridiculously early practice rounds. By the time the gates open he is already halfway thru the back nine.

Thanks guys! I'm just curious why not Wednesdays? Is it because of Pro-ams? (I'm aware of them but I'm still not quite sure what these are)

I've only been to one event (the '05 Canadian Open) and Tuesday was great for sure. All of the players are there by then, and you can watch anyone without fighting galleries. On Wednesday half the shots you see are from hacks and the galleries are much bigger. On Monday or Tuesday you get to see the players experiment, hit multiple shots from all over the place...etc. If I had to pick one day to watch I'd give the edge to Sunday with Tuesday a close 2nd.
