Capabilities of aboutGolf PGA Tour Simulators (3trak) as Launch Monitor

I've been working at a new indoor golf facility in Central NJ, and as a result in down times and slow periods, I have been hitting a lot of golf shots on the aboutGolf PGA Tour Simulators, sometimes more than I'd like to admit.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about their capabilities as a launch monitor? Specifically for swing characteristics (Angle of Attack, Club Path, Face Angle). You have to attach a reflective decal to your clubs to have the system find these numbers.

If anyone does, how accurate should I expect these numbers to be?

I know I have a fairly steep angle of attack in general, just the way my swing is. I spin the ball a lot, hit a low ball. But some of these numbers I'm getting seem a little strange. Specifically my AoA. AoA with the driver consistently averages below -5, (so super steep), and the launch is usually between 7-9 degrees. (9.5 degree driver). I still carry the ball about 270 on the simulator on average. (realistically it's more like 250 normally outdoors).

SS is about 110 so I know working on my AoA can give me some more distance (and with the less spin from steep AoA - more accuracy).

I try to work on it, but either no change is occurring because my AoA data rarely changes, or the numbers are inaccurate and I should stay away from trying to figure it out using these simulators.

Any help?

$20k to buy a trackman would be nice.

I think that's what our local GG uses in the simulator. I was trying a driver and getting around 4000rpm backspin on good contact, when the guy working it realized that the setting was on 4 iron. He changed it to driver and it dropped my shots by about 1000rpm.

It measures CHS and face to path fine, but not much else. I'd bet a Swing Caddie does just as good of a job for a lot less for distance readings alone. For left/right it's always seemed pretty good to me, but I'll get 180 carry on a 6i and 220 on a driver that reads closer to 255 on a GC2.
