Oakmont - Best places to watch

I will be at Oakmont this saturday. Any advice on the best places to get a good view? Maybe a spot that you can see multiple holes from one place?

Today and yesturday when I was up there I liked to sit on the grandstand at #8. It is the long par 3 (288 yds) I was able to see another green ( I think #5 and it was very fun. Hope you enjoy the course. I'll be up there everyday and the last two days have been a blast. Make sure you wear very comfortable shoes

Reports have the greens at 14.2 stimp. Should lead to interesting green play. .

I just got back and let me tell you, the grandstand behind the 4th green/5th tee is fabulous.

Go early and go to the very top all the way by the 8th green. You can stand and turn around to see the 2nd tee and 2nd shots, you can see the approach to 4, all the putting on 4, the tee shots on 5, if you have binoculars, you can see the shots leaving the players on 5...you can see all of 8 being played. By my count that's 4 holes.

It was amazing.

Third nicest course I've ever seen (Augusta and Muirfield Village) and probably the most difficult. Walking between holes, I looked down and couldn't see my shoes for the rough.

Even par will run away this week.

I'd follow the Phil Mickelson, Adam Scott, and Jim Furyk group. They tee off at 1:36 pm ET on Thurs. and 8:06 am ET on Friday. That should be exciting. Have fun!
