places to demo clubs

i'm finally coming back to hawaii for a few weeks before school starts back up and wanted to demo the ft-i. i know roots has the 1 week (i think) return policy and roger dunn has the 90 day satisfaction guarantee but are there any places that will let you test the club out on the range/course without paying a fee? if not, roots might be the only route to go (if they have used ft-i's for sale; don't know as i haven't been in there since last summer). i really don't feel like getting $400+ in store credit from roger dunn if i don't like the driver. any ideas? much mahalos!

Try Pro Am Golf, I'm pretty sure they'll let you demo a club for several days for a nominal fee (I think it's about $20).

ack, i don't like pro am too much. last time i was there, i remember one guy kinda following me around (i was the only one in there!). if that's the only place, it might have to do.

 

is golfclubdemo.com available to hawaii? wouldn't shipping be outrageous?

Go to Roger Dunns....hit them in the net over there.. If you like it, buy it. If it doesn't work bring it back for something else. They've to the 90 return policy which is hard for anyone to beat.

you get the money back as store credit though right? driver is the only think that i'm experimenting with now. i try to keep telling myself i like my bag so that i don't ho stuff anymore!

Store credit but it's a "gift card" so you can keep it for how ever long you want to.

 

BTW..I'll be making a Demo Day post right after this that you might be interested in. :bad:
