SM6 Jet Black Finish?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody has any experience with the Vokey SM6 jet black finish? Saw these today at a local golf shop and they set up really nicely. I'm a freak with my equipment, so I'm wondering how scratches, dings and wear look like? Do they stick out like a sore thumb or is the club dark beneath the finish? Thanks in advance!

I just put mine in vinegar and it made them a raw finish.

They will wear. You will see scratches and the finish is not as dark underneath. My wife laughs because I like my irons to stay prestige but I like my wedges to look worn so I love the black finish.

Thanks, JBuer! I like mine worn too, but as long as those scratches aren't an eyesore or would distract. I appreciate the response!

Because the finish wears all over I don't thin it distracts. For instance my 50 has more of a fade to it then anything.
