Both of them have worked great for me all summer, i replaced a 15* Vsteel and an original Hogan 3 hybrid, both of these clubs have given me a lower more penetrating ball flight and the Cleveland has a much more square setup so the tendency to loose the shot left isn’t as prevalent as it was with the Hogan.

Golfnike, I think these irons are very forgiving for irons that fall into the player category. My handicap is a 11, and it was a 16 when I made the purchase the catch was that I finally had the time to start taking some lessons of late learning to make better contact as well as work the ball and needed to get out of the super forgiving game improvement iron range but I also knew that I was not ready for a set of blades. I think if you have the chance to demo them and like the way they feel, that they would fit into you game exactly like they did mine, giving you a solid club with enough forgiveness to enjoy but still has that room to grow into. But if you are coming from a game improvement iron be ready for a little growing pains, these irons don’t let you get away with as many of the little sloppy swings as the game improvement irons. After that first month I really began to enjoy the new irons and have loved playing them ever since.

thanks for the input sanddog, i know what your saying. Im coming from a set of what i find to be not a game improvement irons, definately not in our day, the Ping ISI-S. One of the main factors of this is that i learned to golf for about 6 years with a set of old spalding blades, and the everyone who saw them says if you can hit those irons, you can hit anything. Everytime i try an iron with a big sole, i cant adjust to it, I need to have good feel, and when the prices go down on these, i hope to put some n my bag, or wait a bit and get a good set off ebay.

PS: If you ever think of selling them i hope im the first one you contact LOL( im sure you wont be selling them)

I switched from a 3 wedge setup with Cleveland cg12's and have loved every minute of it, the feel is so much better, and I have more confidence with the new setup the 52 57 seems to work so much better for me than my old 52 56 60. Don’t let all the ball shredding threads throw you off it takes a month or so but I don’t do any more damage to a ball now that a spin mill would.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
