Reynolds Plantation

3 buddies and I were very lucky to win the lotto for Masters Monday practice round tickets and looking for a round the day before. We are renting a cabin in Eatonton and I was wondering for Reynolds Plantation do you have to live or be staying in the community to play there? Any other good public course recommendations in the area? Can't wait for this trip. Thanks in advance for the responses.

All the course at at Reynolds are great. Catch some drinks at the ritz on the lake too.

We did a guys trip to Reynolds last year. Unfortunately it was the rainiest winter in years. I don’t think we got the full experience because the courses were so wet. You can tell how much different they play when they are dry because they are so hilly.

I imagine it would be fantastic golf when the courses are dry. Coming from Florida it was cool to play on the hilly undulation but just didn’t get any roll.

you can book directly thru Reynolds (masters week only). All other weeks, you must be guest or member.

@moose557 Late to the party and hopefully your trip has been rescheduled along with the Masters in November. I believe you need to be staying on property (Reynolds Cottages or Ritz Carlton) in order to play Master's Week which is $$$$! You could try Harbor Club which is next door to Reynolds and open to daily play. Little Fishing Creek in Milledgeville, GA is a muni designed by Gary Player and Hard Labor Creek in Rutledge, GA would be much lower quality, but significantly less costly options. Those are pretty much the only local options for which you could gain access that week.

Is Reynolds worth it? Seems steep for a course out there.
