PHIL MICKELSON - He will win a tournament in FEB or MAR, that Tiger is not playing in, show promise but then falter at the MASTERS and come in 2nd at The Players. He will not be a factor at the US OPEN, but he will win The British Open, because of Tiger's fall at the British.

STEVE STRICKER - he will have a poor season and people will forget about him.

ZACH JOHNSON - he will have swing problems and the Golf Channel will run 3 stories about how his best finish from Jan. to May has been a dismal 14th place.

I liked this post so much id ecided to amke a similar one.

Start with the man

TIGER WOODS

Wil win 7 times as in 07. 2 majors and 2 WGC. the 2 majors will be at TORREY PINES as he basically lived there as a kid, and at ROYAL BIRKDALE for the Open. Also he will anounce that wife Elin is pregnant again (thinkin it would be a boy aswell). the other 3 wins will be 2 PGA TOUR and he will win in Dubai whatever that event is. Soemone else will make a Rory statement anedbakc it up with a win two weeks later at a tournemant that Tiger is playin in. And obviously wi the FedEx cup but will be pushed all the way by Ernie.

ERNIE ELS

Will be Tigers main rival will win 4 times around the world and will compete to the death with in 2 majors one bein the British Open with tiger the other possibly the Masters. 3 wins on the European tour and 1 on the PGA Tour the Players wil be a strong top 5 finsh with a chance to win it.

ADAM SCOTT

As much as i want him to have a good season he will suffer a freak accident and break a bone putting him out for half the tour season. AAlthough havin a win and 1 other high finish in a WGC event.

JUSTION ROSE

Will win one major and nothing else this season the Masters and will be unable to deal with the hype coming from it and mess his season up with all the extra media coverage surrounding the win. Will compete in 2 or 3 events on PGA Tour alte in the season and will winish top 10 on points list.

BUBBA WATSON

Will continue to be my hero and will start working with a swing coach about march and will have a hot 2 month stretch being consistently top 25 most weeks in that period. Will win twice and will gai some media attention after a few suble jibes bragging about his lenght off the tee and that he could get Tiger anyday on any (ReMax Fairway).

Rory SABBATINI

Will continue to turn heads and will be told by Adams golf to tone down his antics and stop wearing Skull belt buckles and will win once but will be fined for a serious offence and will ahve to make a fomrall apology to the media and the tour.

One of the new graduates frm eithe the nationwide tour or Q scholl will win twice possibly the auzzie guy whos name escapes me who came frm nationwid emid late season.

Michelle wie will still be nowhere ot be seen on either tour and serious questions will be asked asbout ehr persuing golf as a life choice. Paula Creamer will be named new womens number 1 and will dominate the tour all season.

One guy will be found out for drugs on the PGA Tour asnd will be fined and banned even though he will claim innocence due to taking something in advertantly.

JKim Thorpe will win many times on champions tour but Bernard Langer will tak ethe Charles Schwabb cup money at the end of season and win on european tour aswell.

that about sums it up basically its all true or what i want to be true. peace out

The drug-testing prediction is an almost-certainty in my book.

Some hapless pro will be barred from his livelihood for the heinous crime of using some ephedrine nosedrops when he had a blocked nose or some similar capital offence.

I support such actions wholeheartedly - since, left unchecked, such blatant cheating would have had him winning 17 tournaments with a 64.75 scoring average due to the performance-enhancing qualities of the aforementioned nasal decongestant...

Can you guess I don't agree with drug testing?

1) I predict Jason Day to win, and make the Tour Championship.
2) Callaway will make a dent in the ball market- after all Pro vs are the new HX Tour arent they?
3) Taylormade will have 2 new driver lines before the year is out
4) Titleist will lose ground on the ball count due to srixon, bridgestone, callaway gettig their acts together
5) Nike will continue to make below average golf clubs- they are a shoe maker after all
6) Tim Wilkinson will keep his card and be NZ's lone ranger on tour!!!
7) Rory Sabbatini will confess to being sponsored by Cialis
8) Battle of the young guns McIlroy VS Day at British Open but tiger finishes strong to take the title
9) Figure 8 shaped golfers will continue to wear tight shirts and mezmerize those who watch the golf with their bouncing......

STEVE STRICKER - he will have a poor season and people will forget about him.
Hmmm seems that Stricker is starting out quite strong
agreed hes playing quite well indeed.

and lets be honest rory sabbatini is playing well enough that he could easily win at least 2 or 3 times... including a major... hes my favorite what can i say. and he has the bravado and the ability to try to pull off the low percentage shots... hes an amazing player and he can work the ball like nobodies business.

if someone actually said tiger woods would only win 3 times on the pga then they need to be reminded what tiger woods has done the last few years... when was the last time he only won 3 tournaments in a year? it has to be quite a while ago...

GO RORY SABBATINI!

kj choi is also off to a very hot start could easily see him contending and maybe even taking a major

bubba watson wont win a tournament but he will continue to show signs of greatness and the inability to close one out (us open...)

zach johnson will not fall off the radar he is too good at the moment. its a safe bet he will get at least 1 win on a 1st tier event

thats about all i care to mention on this subject.

Hey guys, I never said that about Steve Stricker......This is what I really said
QUOTE(philfan316 @ Jan 3 2008, 05:25 AM)

STEVE STRICKER - he will have a great start, probably come in Second at Kapalua and then he will vanish into anonymity.
LOL, go ahead and check my original post if you don't believe me.
