Impact Vision Golf Simulator

Hey Everyone,

 

In Toronto (where I am from), a number of low cost simulator companies are opening up using the Impact Vision Golf Simulator system from Korea.  I have tried it a few times and the data seems off to me. It seems to have my swing speed, distance and even direction off (on swings I feel like they would have sliced 20 yards down the line because of my swing path). Has anyone compared the results from these to a gc etc? I dont need exact data but worry if its that off that it will just make me worse!

This is an old post, but I just played in one of these and it was pretty bad.

 

The ball speed was off by 10% or so with the driver, the direction (especially sidespin) was way off.  Distances were wildly off for mid-irons.  I'm a very consistent ball striker and the sim consistently had my 7i having the same carry (200+) as my 4i.  Basically all my clubs from 7i to 4i carried between 190-205 in this sim.   Distance with my hybrid off the deck and with wedges seemed kinda ok, but it didn't record spin rates very well, so I know that was pretty far off in some cases.

 

It's better than hitting into a bare net.  But only a bit.

Agreed and no ability to pick up side Spin. I cam tell it's a slice and it's showing straight
