Colorado Springs Golf

Will be visiting my grandparents for my grandmothers 90th birthday first week of august. They’re a member of a private club in the area but sadly I can’t use them to get on anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should for sure play. I’ve played their club and then Pine Creek. Anyone willing to potentially host me somewhere or have a connection that could get me on to the Eisenhower(both grandfathers are retired air force but again can’t use them to get on if that were possible.) my swing coach sessions are at a private club but he doesn’t feel comfortable getting me on places last time I asked.

Driving 30-45 mins north puts you in the Castle Rock Area, which has some nice public courses. I would look at Bear Dance, Ridge at Castle Pines North, Red Hawk Ridge.

 

Also, depending on when you're out, I can have you out at Country Club of Colorado.

I also replied in the Denver thread, but I’ll be in Colorado Springs the middle of August. Couple days there, handful of days in Estes Park, and a couple days in Denver. We were planning on golfing a couple of times, I have an idea for the Denver stop, but looking for ideas for another course probably in the Colorado Springs area. I’ll check out the courses listed above too. Note, it’s myself and my sons. They are 12 and 14 so usually get junior rates. And really long courses are tough for the younger one. Though we usually just adjust which tees we use for the longer holes.
