2nd Swing Golf, The Colony, TX

Just so everyone knows they just opened a store yesterday up in the Colony across 121 from Scheels and NFM.  I went today and they are still getting ramped up but they had a ton of clubs already.  Mostly used but they have new as well as.  They have 7 hitting bays that you can just walk but and take a used club off the rack and go hit them.  They also have 2 fitting bays that are seperate and a putter fitting bay as well.  Up front they have a club builders workshop for any needs you may have and in the back they have what is called The Vault.  This is where the majority of the used clubs are and they will be filling it up in thr next month or so.  

 

Pricing on used clubs seemed on par with what others are charging in the area.  Worth a stop in for sure.

They have always had an impressive online presence. Nice to see them open locally but that location has no visibility and is a tired retail strip center. Must've been a great deal on the rent.

I have spent much time on their website. Glad to know about the brick & mortar shop opening up in our neck of the woods. Thanks for the heads up. Will definitely have to check it out.

I had a “fitting” with Jeb Stuart at 2nd Swing. I was torn between fitting and coaching and had decided I couldn’t go wrong with a new set of irons. Jeb spotted several flaws in my swing and I wasn’t hitting any better with new irons, so he hinted that lessons might be a better investment. We kept talking and I found out that he was a teaching pro (former tour pro) and I had my first lesson with him this week. He’s helping me with simple, but significant changes and I can already feel the difference in my shots. 
 

Top notch, knowledgeable service from Jeb and 2nd Swing! I’ll be back when I’m actually ready for my fitting. And they have a HUGE selection of used clubs!

Originally from MN so I was blessed to visit the original store up there many times. They do a good job and I love there website so I will be visiting when i get up to Dallas next.

Finally got around to trying out this place a couple of weeks ago, fantastic! I love that you can grab anything and just start hitting in the bay. The trackmans don't use RCT so you don't get as accurate of a reading as a GCquad, but I really liked the store. I even picked up a 2 iron that was close to my spec to try out (love it so far).

My son and I have been there several times and have never failed to be able to hit as many used clubs as we can stand to try...and we can abuse some balls...I think we spent an hour each in there 1 day and there wasn't ever anyone waiting behind us because they had enough open bays to service everyone even with us hogging 2 of them!
