New SC Custom Shop Black finish option

So under their FAQ it says they’re offering the option to have your putter refinished in black or silver. I was excited about this so I reached out and, apparently, the Phantom X line does not qualify “because of the two piece design w/aluminum”…Does that even make sense? The aluminum section is simply a sole plate in these newer Phantoms, it isn’t the primary material like it was in older gens. They simply have to remove the sole plate and then refinish the steel. They’ve released black Phantom X’s in limited runs, and we see black Phantoms on Tour everyday. I can’t imagine that removing the sole plate would be too difficult - but idk maybe it is. Oh well.
