Took my new Bushnell Phantom 2 out for a round, i dig it!

Clipped it on my bag and found it to be just about the perfect tool.  Speeds the round up by keeping me from pulling the range finder, shooting, shooting again to be sure, then putting it back.  Score keeping was much faster than via app on my phone.  haven't tried the phone app that goes with it yet but even without that i'm pretty happy.  And very easy to see with my crappy eyes.

I have used my Phantom 2 since the release date and have not looked back. It has been very accurate, speeds the round up and magnet works great on the cart. I just had to get use to grabbing it off the cart after the round. Now awaiting the North American release of the slope version.

I have an original Phantom.   It is very easy to use as a quick reference for distance.   The strong magnet holds it w/o any movement on the cart and it is very visible.   

 

I purchased a case for my Phantom that zips.   I place my keys in the case as a reminder to grab the Phantom before I leave.   You can guess that I have left it on a cart before!   I also have a neoprene cover from Amazon that acts as a support if it were to fall (not yet).  

 

It is definitely a nice addition to my arsenal.  I'm sure the Phantom 2 is very nice also.

Any idea when the "slope" version will be on sale here?

I sent customer service an email awhile back and received a generic response back. I will try to call them since I am curious as well.  It’s been out in Europe for awhile. I am tempted to buy it off eBay from the UK. The Phantom 2 is great, but I would like to have the slope option.  I’m just have not jumped on it or pushed to find out since it’s a want vs a need right now.

I spoke to Bushnell. No timetable for North American release right now, but the European model should work here per the rep. 
 

We are up that way regularly visiting family.

So did you end up getting the European model when visiting family? 

If so, any issues using it in the US?
