Edison Golf and GolfWRX are very excited to bring you this opportunity to test and review the new EDISON 2.0 forged wedges! Each tester is going to get a phone consultation with Terry Koehler, The Wedge Guy, himself to discuss their wedge game and get dialed into the perfect wedges. This is an amazing chance to get to review some high-tech forged wedges that can truly elevate your short game. Apply now!

About EDISON 2.0 forged Wedges

Because of the indisputable laws of smash factor and gear effect, the only way to significantly improve wedge performance is to dramatically change the way the mass is distributed across the back of the clubhead. EDISON 2.0 wedges look different from any other wedge… simply because they were designed from scratch to perform so much better for golfers of all skill levels. This distinctive design allows Edison Golf to position up to 42% more mass directly behind or even above your center-face and high-face impact points than any other wedges. It’s a breakthrough approach to wedge design that optimizes distance consistency from shot to shot while also maximizing forgiveness and spin. This unique design actually puts a bit more clubhead thickness behind your not-so-good shots than even a center hit. So those shots hit slightly high on the face or a bit toward the toe consistently fly more like your best shots. Every EDISON 2.0 wedge incorporates the patented Koehler Sole, proven by thousands of golfers for over 30 years to be the most versatile sole in the category. Instead of making you compromise with some specialized grind, the Koehler Sole combines a high bounce angle in the front of the sole with a low bounce angle in the back of the sole so you can forget all that B.S. about bounce and grind… and just hit the shot with confidence. It’s hard to find a lie this sole doesn’t like or a swing path it can’t handle. If your swing is steep or you play in soft conditions, your EDISON 2.0 wedge will perform like a high-bounce design. If your swing is shallow or you play in firmer conditions, it will perform like a low-bounce wedge. So, no matter what shot you're about to hit or where you're playing, you'll always have the right wedge in your hands.

4. What is the strongest and weakest part of your wedge game?  Strongest from full swing on each of my 52,56,60 wedges as I know exact distances.  When I take full swings, I can dial in my distances.  But I'm weaker when having to half/quarter swing.  Need to practice that more at the range.
5. Why would you like to review Edison 2.0 wedges?  I've always played Titleist or Taylormade wedges and would like to try a wedge that isn't mainstream, but as you claim, performs better.  Plus I put on a charity tournament and I'm always looking for new and different ideas for prizes for our tournament.  We provide a $100-$200 gift to all 144 players at our tournament and this is just the type of item I'm always on the lookout for.

1. Lincoln, NE

2. Handicap: 16

3. Current Wedges: Sub-70, Bombtech

4. Strongest part is a flat or uphill approach from 40-60 out.  Weakest is a downhill lie.
5. I’ve been intrigued by Edison wedges since hearing Terry’s passion for the game on the Plugged in Golf Podcast but haven’t been able to financially jump into them yet.

6. I 100% agree to the requirements of a wear tester.  I have a background in wear testing for Brooks Sports (Running shoes & apparel), and have been successful completing similar requirements.

3. Current Wedges? Callaway Mac Daddy CB 52, 56, 60

4. What is the strongest and weakest part of your wedge game? I feel decently comfortable hitting full shot wedges. I’m VERY uncomfortable with finesse shots with my wedges. Chipping around the green is usually a disaster. I’ll choose a putter if I can over my current wedges.
5. Why would you like to review Edison 2.0 wedges? I am looking to game new wedges. I just recently started researching Edison wedges and really like what I have read and the videos I have watched. I believe these will improve my short game. I am really big on reviews and find them extremely important when I start looking for a new club. Being able to share my experiences with these wedges and help people understand more about them would be pretty cool!

6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates?  Yes, for sure,

If your swing is shallow or you play in firmer conditions, it will
