Extending a 32in putter

Is there anyway to do this? Is this a DIY or more professional type job?

Just epoxy one of the steel extenders in the butt of the club, trim, and regrip. https://www.grips4less.com/collections/shaft-extensions/products/stainless-steel-extensions-for-steel-shafts, Might just be cheaper to have a shop do it if you're going to have to buy epoxy and grip tape though.

How long do you want it to play? And what swingweight are you aiming for in the finished product? Keep in mind that the more you extend it the swingweight will increase if you don’t reduce the headweight, so the putter will likely feel heavier.

I wanna play it 34. Not sure about swing weight. I have another putter I like so I may try to match it up with that one. They can just add some weight to the grip?

It’s maybe a 1/2 beer job. My local Dicks Sporting Goods sells them which means if you’ve got a Golf Galaxy close they’ve got them too. And yeah, you can rig one with an old piece of shaft if inclined. Just make sure you rough up the inside of the existing shaft (in your case the 32”) so the epoxy can grip. 
 

If you have an air compressor I’d suggest that for putting on the grip over tape and solvent. Easy to swap and/or tinker with the length or different grips.
