LiveView alternatives?

I am wanting to get a camera setup going for my range practice sessions.  LiveView appears great in concept but is pricy and people say the resolution is low?  In any case, what else is available and particularly if there are any iOS solutions.  I have both an iphone and an iPad.

 

I don't need to see every swing.  But I want is to set it up, make a bunch of swings, and when something goes wrong then I want to immediately look at the ipad and see what I did wrong, ideally in slow motion.  Recording myself endlessly and then going back to search for the right one is not good enough.  I really like the LiveView concept that you swing and immediately see it played back, though I don't know if it can be setup to play it back slow motion or not.  But I'm a bit concerned about the alleged low resolution, not to mention it's quite expensive.  seems like it would be easy to replicate this behavior with a couple iOS devices?

I don't have any alternatives to suggest but as a regular user of LiveView (first and now current generation) can say that the resolution is perfectly fine for the analysis that I need. And, yes, you can playback at slower speed. I have mine set up in most all of my practice sessions.
