Got too outside on takeaway - progress update

Too much up with arms...getting me too steep on the way back. Correcting that to get less steep on the way down.

Had to take the last 3 weeks off to let my hand heal, had a bit of trigger finger going in left hand pinky. Before time off I was working on yhr new swing above. Back at it today and the changes are still mostly there. Need more reps, but it's going in the right direction. About 40 balls to get back into it today. Will be headed to amg yo get on pressure plates soon. Excited about that.

Yeah. Every time I try to get my feet more square, my path gets right. I've been changing a bunch of stuff this year and I may be able to get more square with my feet at some point...but not worrying about it right now. Helps me get open. I just have to manage it...not fire the hips at all really.

For me, my arm angle got too far above the angle of my shoulders at the top. Swing was too up and down and not enough around. That got me too steep on the way down with my hand path and the club kicked out too soon on the way down.

Don't know if it's just the pictures but it looks as if your weight is out on the toes, but like I said, it could just be the pictures. Nothing wrong with being a little open on the set up. My natural shot shape is a little fade so maybe I'm a tad biased lol. I find that it helps me get open a little better as well. I just have to be careful which line I swing on though.
