Anybody a fan ?  I am.  Lots of fun playing courses on the edge.  Tests your patience.  We parred the first 4 holes.
 

Won a big one last week and our team split 3600.  Got it to -10 with exceptional putting.  Also, we had a former d1 kid hit a few 360 yard drives and also hit a couple of 270 yard 3 woods (on the fly) into 2 greens on tough par 5’s

 

Format.  15 normal cups.  Two holes have cups on severe slopes with 8” cups, you miss you have 30 feet.  One hole with a small cup (2”).   Half the pins, you need a player to leave one ball 6 feet away as a lag on putt 1.  Half the normal cups, when you miss you run 6-15 feet away.  One team 6 putted a green.  A team tied with us 4 putted their last hole to drop into T2 … 2 shots back.

 

Team index total must be 24.0.  Only two guys allowed under 4.0.  We had two zero’s, an 18.0 and a 6.1.

I loved to see the following

10 holes played from the tips with the pins tucked in fair spots (no more than 2% slope)

4 holes played from the forward tees with a 2 inch holes tucked in flat spots (two par 4s and two par 3s)

4 holes played from the putting green/fringe of the previous hole with 8 inch cups on big slopes (two par 4s and two par 5s)

 

Do like stableford scoring to reward birdies and pars
