MLM2Pro ball marker options - In particular, has anyone used the RPT ball marker templates on Amazon to put pattern on other balls

I was just curious if anyone has tried using the the RPT ball marker templates on Amazon.  If so, did you use a plain black sharpie or use one of the tag markers that are filled with reflective black paint?

 

I know they have some stick on dot templates for sale that get great reviews on youtube for accuracy but that seems very tedious.  I'd rather just be able to toss the template around the ball and mark it up real quick.

 

I am just curious as I am researching personal LMs for indoor at home use, and the MLM2Pro gets great reviews online when paired with the RPT balls.  The problem is, I do not care for the Callaway or Titleist balls that they currently come in.

 

Edit:  I forgot to mention that I do have one buddy who uses the tag marker and template option with pretty good success, but I wanted to hear from other people to make sure it is not just a fluke that it works well for him.

I got one of these templates off eBay and used a basic Sharpie. The vendor did suggest a Tag marker, but I haven’t tried that yet. The sharpie sucks. It rubs off and also gets on the club faces (a little alcohol takes it right off). 
 

The template I received also allows the ball to spin around which isn’t ideal either. Clipped it shut around the ball, but still had to try to hold the ball still through the holes, so the pattern didn’t get messed up. 
 

I decided to just use the Rapsodo balls.
