Does getting fit translate to most golf shafts??

I got fit last summer and know what shafts i need, in my driver its the kai'li 60g X-Stiff. So my question is would that shafts characteristics translate to a graphite design shaft for instance? If i got a Graphite Design shaft with Low Traj & Low Spin in a 60G X-stiff would that shaft theoretically work for me? The shaft Im using right now that i really like is the Aldila Rogue 110 Msi, just need an upgrade its been in the bag since 2015

 

I was also trying a buddy's 3 wood with the Tour Ad BB 6s and it was amazing, I doubt I would get fit for that shaft but it goes high and pierces through the wind really nicely.

Kai'li White and AD VF/XC are similar in EI profile since you mentioned GD shafts.  However, VF/XC feel smoother.  They are all mid-low launch/low spin.  With that being said, just because you got fit for one shaft will not directly translate to something else that's similar in another brand.  Let's use the example I posted.  I have the VF which I absolutely love.  I also love the 1K Pro Orange which is similar but slightly counterbalanced.  However, I don't love the XC or Kai'li white although I could play them and still do ok from a numbers/performance standpoint.  They both don't feel as smooth as the VF/1K Pro Orange.  XC's handle is too soft and the Kai'li just doesn't feel right to me.  As you can see, similar EI profile shafts don't always fit even though on paper they should.

Sucks for me how hard it is to test these without buying them lol id love to try that VF, especially because its similar to the Kai'li and iv hit other GD shafts and they feel so good.
