Rtx 6 grind options vs vokey grind

Recommended Posts

Looking for some help with the experience folk here.  Going to pickup a couple tour rack rtx wedge this season to replace my vokey 56 and 60.  What are the vokey equivalents of

56f vokey = I looked at 56 full and mid rtx and the leading edge sat up off the ground more than the vokey.  I’m assuming I’d want to get some sort go with the rtx 56 full and get some leading edge grind.  Any other he or sole relief to get it okay close to the 56f?

60m. Vokey = assuming this is a rtx 60 mid grind with leading edge relief.  And other heel or sole grind to add to get it close to the m grind?

One other point I forgot to add was that if you want the lead edge to sit a little lower, you could just bend the wedge a degree stronger. That would move the contact area of the sole slightly forward, thus lowering the leading edge.

Looking at these also. Currently playing a 54.10S and 60.04L

54 mid and 60 low going to be similar?

Yes, very similar in grind and performance.

If you want the closest grind on the RTX6 to the Vokey M grind it would be the Full grind with the Relief edge and the Heel & Toe grind.

I just ordered two of the wedges with RELIEF EDGE. I never saw an option to choose both heel/toe and relief edge.

Is there something I overlooked?

Yes, you can have more than one grind option. Call customer service and ask if you can send it in to have it done.

Ugh!!! Just received them.

So it wasn't just me overlooking the options? They don't offer it on the website right?

I believe there is an option to choose grinds and the ability to add another grind, or at least there was when I ordered my RTX Zips. If they don’t offer the ability to add another grind, the S grind option would be very similar to the Vokey M but wouldn’t have the toe relief.

I didn't and don't see letter denoted grinds on the website. I'm inclined to just sell and move onto something easier. Hate having to work at giving people my money.

Awesome. Might give these a go this year

I like the availability of raw and the pricing compared to Vokey at this point

The RTX 6 are really good wedges. We are very spoiled with so many wedges available on the market now. I saw the new Wilson wedges yesterday, and they look great as well..

Appreciate the talking through the grinds and their differences from the members above. Want to test them out for sure!
