For any decent ball-striker, that really doesn't pose a problem, you just come down a touch steeper and pinch the ball out. He played a brilliant shot.

 

To their credit, they really didn't make too big of a deal. They were pretty much just laughing about the fact that he hits a perfect drive on the 18th at Augusta and gets screwed.

 

Neither Faldo or Nantz really thought he would have that much trouble with the shot. Plus, the entire final round was pretty anti-climatic, so they were probably happy that something interesting happened.

The exact same thing happened to me at my tourny this weekend. Par 5, great drive, great 3 wood, only to be in a deep divot for my 3rd shot from under 100 yards. Unfortunately I didn't play it as good as he did. :good: Fill your trenches please!!!
