Ping Shaft/Wedge Grind Cost

Hi,

I am going to order some Ping wedges with grinds and project x shafts. Does anyone know what the cost is for these upgrades? I don't want to be paying $300 a wedge or I'd just buy scratch...

I can,t tell you about shafts because I got the AWT with cushion ,but I don,t think it will be much. Because I bought a lot of stuff and known 20 years the Ping retailer thru in the T grind for free. You can call Ping and if I remember it was under $15.00. Ping will give you the the top or suggested price a retailer will charge but depending on who you buy from it could be less.

The grinds through Ping's Wrx department are, as hardten mentioned, standardized at $15ish (I believe I was quoted $13 a while back). Obviously some retailers will give incentives or honey-deals for long time customers, which might be helpful in your case as the Project X upgrade is about $35 a club. :) You might want to give the KBS tour a run though, as it's only a $10 upcharge. Designed by Kim Braly, the guy who pretty much invented the PX. That'd have you at $135 a wedge for some Tour-Ws ($110 + $15 + $10). Good luck.

i would of course use mortons but I am UK based. here I imagine I could be paying £90+£30+£10 x 4 which runs to about $1000 lol

Lame excuse...especially as it seems as though your collection of putters has overcome the international barrier quite well. :)

Ah, I was kidding...giving props to your putters more than anything, but I'm not too sure whether they do or not. I know Riuzzi has ordered from them, but am not sure on whether he made other arrangements to do so. I'm pretty sure GPP does ship internationally though.
