Rescue Dual or 503U

Is it worth the wait?

I've come to the conclusion that I need a hybrid 2 iron.
I've hit the Rescue Dual before and really liked it.

However, I wasn't sure if I should wait for the 503U to come out or just buy the Rescue now.

What do you guys think?

tough to say having not hit the 503U, but i have the rescue dual 19* as a replacement for my 2 iron/5 wood and love it. easy to hit off the deck, off the tee, out of rough and even a bunker. if you play a draw i would look at the tp model as it has less offset.

I've hit both the regular and tp version and found them both to be very good. I only hit them into a net but I thought both were very solid and very easy to hit.

 

I was just wondering if anybody has been fortunate to hit the 503U yet and guess at what it might cost. I've read in the post here that the 503U should be released sometime in June and I just don't know if I should wait that long.

Get the Rescue TP if you really need one now and then the 503U later.... i have a Rescue dual TP....503H went back to Rescue TP, getting a Nickent DC, then the 503U when it comes out.

That's sort of what I was thinking except if I like the Dual TP, I'll probably just stick with it.

Take a look at Nickent if you're looking for a hybrid that has a similiar trajectory to a 2 iron.

 

They actually have 2 options now, one that a pure hybrid (Iron wood model) and one that's had a wider sole, kinda in between a hybrid and a wood (Utility model)

 

But you can also still get their 3DX hybrid from last year for short dough, like $99

From what I can tell, the 3DX DC ironwood is just a long iron replacement while the 3DX DC utility is a resue club.
