Thanks, I didn't know you could edit posts here. i've only posted here a few times.

 

The penguin headcover came from a local golf store here in South Carolina. i'm guessing you can find the headcover online, but i don't know where. i had to get it because one of my favorite movies is "Billy Madison".........with the Penguin running around in the beginning........."Its too hot for penguins to be running around here!!!" and the fact that Adam Sandler was in "Happy Gilmore" golfing..........had to get the penguin......plus, i'm from Connecticut and all my friends here in South Carolina say i'm from the North Pole.........although penguins don't live in the North Pole, i figure, its cold there and its cold in Connecticut too. anyway, i guess that's the long story behind it. scott c.

Must say I'm not a huge fan of Hogan's wedges, but whatever works right! Very solid set up otherwise. I love the old 962 DCI's. Still got my old 1 iron from that set. I'm using something a bit more forgiving now, but I'll never get rid of it either.

 

Love the penguin too.

Props to the Connecticut headcover. That is hwere i grew up, very cool!

this is a reply to all that have responded.

 

i love my putter........and have said that i will not get another putter as long as i live, for a couple reasons, the price, $200 and the feel.

 

the connecticut headcover....i grew up in connecticut too and my dad went to UCONN, so I've always loved UCONN basketball. they don't make that headcover anymore, so i'm happy i got it.

 

the hogan wedges. i love the wedges.......the ones i have. i do not like the current hogan wedges, they seem different to me....the carnoustie wedges and the colonial or riviera wedges or whatever they are.

 

the titleist 962 irons. i love them. they are very solid and consistent throughout the set. i have had them since the spring of 1997. i am currently looking into new irons just because of the age of these clubs. the grooves are still good for now, but the first couple years i had them, i was playing golf 3 or 4 days a week, so they are worn a little. i'm looking at the titleist 735cm or the mizuno mp-60. don't know what to pick right now and probably won't get irons this year.......might wait until next spring, but we'll see.

I play the T60, very good club.

 

Note though, I am a tiny bit biased towards Nike. :)

The Nike t-60 will diffintely be replacing the Taylor Made V-steel. Scott c.
