mitsubishi blueboard in the Ping V2?

Is the Mitsubishi blueboard in the Rapture V2's legit? I know most stock premium shafts are not the real deal, but I tried it today at a demo day, and I honestly could not tell the difference.

What stores are selling them for $300? Everywhere here in KC, it seems, they are going for around $379-$399. I've been really impressed with this driver, but can't bring myself to pull the trigger on something from the 'bay.

I'm not sure if that's a legitimate website since I've never dealt with them, but they have them for $275.

 

I really liked it in the V2, it felt absolutely amazing. I cannot believe that its a legit blue board as a stock order.

Yeah, I did. I see what you were saying there now. They are all still $370 or higher over on the east coast too...and I think I've seen one used with a blueboard on the bst since they came out.

 

Always a good sign when no one wants to sell the driver they bought in the first 4 months they've owned it.

yep its legit, if you guys want an awesome deal, ping is offering a free blueboard upgrade in the g10. They sell the g10 hear for 300 $CDN. That's cheaper than the price of the shaft.

Yeah it does feel pretty good. If it set up more open I would own one without a doubt. I really like the feel and sound off the face.

Wow, anything that you have to do or say to get that deal? Or do you just order it through your ping retailer as a standard option?

From what I understand, you just have to make the order, don't have to do anything special. Not positive how long they are doing it though. I do some club work for a couple courses so I am hoping the might give me staff discount too.

+1 Ping's bread and butter is creating square face drivers, which is nice because every other company seems to want to charge you an extra couple hundred bucks for a square "tour model"
