Help picking a golf ball

I have narrowed it down to a few choices based on price. I am looking for a high spin ball at a pretty cheap price. The greens at my home course are pretty fast and I need something to hold well.

 

Here are the possible choices:

 

1. Noodle +

2. Wilson Staff 50/50

3. Wilson Staff Zip

4. Srixon AD33

5. Precept Laddie X-Treme

 

OR for $15 more per dozen I can get Callaway Tour I's, but $25/dozen is a lot for a 17 capper.

 

My question is which one of those balls would you recommend (looking for spin)? And do you think the Tour I's would be worth the extra $12-$15/dozen?

Im not looking for used golf balls, only new ones. Thank you for the try though

You'd be surprised with the 5A quality. You can't tell the difference from a new ball. I'd give it a shot. It will put a lot more premium balls in your price range.

Try the TM TP Red, Long and soft. Cheap now too. I'm a 11 handi who doesn't put a ton of spin on the ball. Really works for me and maybe you too.

Of the balls you listed, the Laddie doesn't spin at all and the Zip will spin the most. For my taste, the Zip doesn't feel right off the putter. I am a big fan of the Srixon AD333 -- its fairly long (though not quite as long as the Noodle or Laddie), it spins fairly well for a 2-piece ball, feels good off the putter and has a nice, high ball flight.

While the Srixon Ad333 would be my suggestion off your list, I would also recommend the Taylormade Burner TP as a ball that will spin more during the short game shots.

+1 for this. If you can source some Maxfli Tour Fires, these are apparently the exact same ball, available for $15 or so/doz. However, they are discontinued, so if you find some, better stock up.

However, if you wanted to stick to your list, I'd recommend the 50's. I've used everything on your list except the Srixons, and liked the spin of the 50's best, though their shallow dimples do make them baloon a bit off of the driver. The cover has a great soft feel that I especially love when pitching and putting.

From your choices the 50's...They do look a little different because of the dimple design.
