I am looking for a new cart bag..

Bag Boy, Ogio, Callaway?

So, I have upgraded my clubs this season with the help of these boards. I have played no-names for the past 7 years, but my bag is completley upgraded for now. Now I want to upgrade cart bags. I currently have a Slazenger.

Here is my set up
Driver- Hibore XL
5 wood- Sonertec
3,4 hybrid- Cobra Baffler DWS
5-AW- Callaway X-20
SW, LW- Snake Eyes
Putter- Oddysey White Hot XG 2ball

I originally wanted to get a Callaway cart bag, but I have been watching Bag Boy revolvers go for about $110 on ebay. Anyone have experience with these Bag Boys? I would like to keep the price as close to $100 as I can.

This callaway cart bag is awesome. I only use it for cart rounds at away courses that are not conducive to walking. I use a push cart and different bag at my home course for 90 percent of my rounds. This bag has the awesome styling of the callaway staff bags without the bloated looks and weight. It has 14 dividers and stadium seating for your clubs (woods in the back are higher than wedges in the front). Extremely functional on the cart. Internet pricing has dropped dramatically on this bag recently as well. Nice putter well. I chose black/silver.

You either love or hate the bag boy revolvers. I did not care for the spinning head or the little grip lock things. I prefer being able to just grab my clubs and go, particularly if I am playing a course that is cart path only. I spent to much time going in and out of the revolver and gave it to my father-in-law after 2 rounds. He on the other hand loves it.

Bags are very personal things. I ordered two online that I thought I'd like and ended up sending them back. Do yourself a favor and go B&M shopping for your new bag. Load it up with clubs in the store and see how stable it is. And bring the stuff you plan to take to the course and check the fit of the pockets and the accessibility of all of it.

Most folks here are gonna tell you what they like, and that may not be what you like.

Buy a 9" or 9.5" vinyl hard sided staff bag. These are much better than any of the soft sided "cart bags".
You will find the staff bag protects your clubs while in the trunk or on the cart. While playing you will find how easily clubs go in and out of a staff bag.
