Adidas Stand Bag

tried the search but no luck

I am wondering if anyone has information on an Adidas stand bag I saw on here some time ago. It looked a lot like the staff bag Sergio has, but it was a stand bag. It's not the Ascend bag that I am thinking of. The only color option on this bag were black with white stripes or white with black stripes. Maybe it was a Japan edition or something. Thanks for the help!!

I'm guessing you're referring to the AG Tour stand bag. [url="http://www.tmaxgear.com/ag-tour-stand.html"]TMAX Adidas AG Tour[/url] . They can be found pretty cheap on the bay last time I looked.

Since this bag is kind of expensive...I have the following questions for anyone who might own one:

1) Is it really as nice as it looks (quality) in the pictures (I have yet to see one in person)

2) Does it work well on a cart (sometiems ride when I have too)

3) Overall "Pro's" about the bag

4) Overall "Con's" about the bag

Thank you ahead of time for any information you can give as I really like the looks of this bag but would need to buy it without ever touching one (they are rare)... :good:

1) Is it really as nice as it looks (quality) in the pictures (I have yet to see one in person). [b]The quality is very good. I've owned two Japan market stand bags by Adidas and Titleist and this bag compares very favorably in looks and quality. The material, I believe, is a special nylon. Feels almost like a thick wet suit. Cleans up very easily with water. Very resistant to dings and scratches. The zipper pulls, towel holder, buttons have a gunmetal appearance and the Adidas logo. The leg mechanism works very well and is very durable. Additionally there are full length club dividers, an insulated pocket a towel well and a velour lined valuables pocket. Great storage with one full length bag pocket, two generous side pockets and two generous center pockets for balls/tees etc.[/b]

2) Does it work well on a cart (sometiems ride when I have too). [b]Fits perfectly on my Clicgear cart. Fits easily on the back of the golf cart when I ride. I couldn't say this about my previous stand bags b/c the stand mechanism jutted out too far to fit the bag easily on the back of a cart.[/b]

3) Overall "Pro's" about the bag. [b]Looks. Lots of storage. Easy to clean.[/b]

4) Overall "Con's" about the bag. [b]Price. I don't walk but I think the weight of the bag at about 6.5 lbs is heavy for walkers.[/b]

Helps big time...thanks alot... :good: I cannot find this bag anywhere so I can look at it in person...one last question if I may...how does the top work with clubs in it? It looks like when it is straight up it is almost like a staff bag but what about when leaning on the legs...any trouble with clubs getting stuck any more than usual???

I would love to have this bag as my winter bag. It's the same design as my TM TMX bag! Unfortunately, the Adidas Employee Store does not offer this bag, or I would be all over it!

Here is my take on the TMX bag. BTW, I have the 2009 version which has a 6-way top just like the Adidas AG Tour bag. To be honest with you, the 8-way top version is junk. I've had that one before and it only lasted me 1/2 a season. I like the 6-way top version of the TMX so much that I actually have 2 of them, but just sold one today.

1. It's probably the sharpest bag out there. It uses ballistic nylon, so it cleans easily and won't stain.

2. I usually walk and push a cart, but I did use it a couple of times this year on a power cart, works fine on the cart.

3. As I already mentioned, I have the 6-way top version.

4. It's way cool, attractive, stands out.... you name it. Easy to clean, 6-way top is so easy to get clubs in and out of.

5. Spendy. The strap sucks so I replaced it with Nike straps I had laying around. Drink pocket could be bigger.

BTW, Adidas employee discount would make this bag REAL cheap! However, I just scored an AG Tour bag today for cheap. Can't wait!

Are the sides of the full length dividers tied to the bag sides or are they open like most bags? My concern is with tangling and shafts sliding from one divider to another.

It looks like a sweet bag though!
