Do you normally hit a fade / prone to slice? Your stance and foot position certainly hint towards that.

I like how compact the backswing is. Hard to tell, but it looks like your feet are open relative to your shoulders, so maybe that could be worked on. I actually like your action quite a bit, looks like you're hitting it pure. Maybe the grip is a bit strong too, but if it works for you don't change it. I think your swing would be a lot easier to dissect if we could get a down-the-line view; winter's a foul woman.

Thanks man, I have some CPGA lessons at a big indoor range, so I'll get some better videos soon. and yes, I'm practicing the PPGS swing, although I don't have health problems, it seems pretty legit, and the only swing video I've watched and actually understood. I did stack and tilt a little, until I snapped my 8 iron head off the hosel due to my angle of impact... after that I moved on to easier methods. and what do you mean by down the line.. from the back or the side?

I do grip pretty firm.. but I find it interesting how you guys could point it out.. how did you notice?

Seems pretty good to me, what handicap do you play off? 11 right? (Ps : how do you get your WITB after your post?) I'd say to work on tempo and fundamentals such as alignement and posture.

Sorry, that second part is a bit hard to explain. Here is a picture that'll help illustrate it a bit better:

 

See how the club is resting in the second creases of his fingers? This helps to create a softer grip on the club, and (at least for me) it can help you release the club more at impact, eliminating a fade/slice that could be bugging you.

 

It's hard to tell from the video, but to me it looked like you are holding the in the crease where your knuckles are, as opposed to in your fingers.

yeah, an 11, but '09 was my first golf season in a few years.
