Best mid-launch, low spin shaft - on a budget!

I see many of you gaming very expensive shafts in your drivers and fairways, some of which cost $200 or more, in addition to the expensive club.

 

I'm thinking of changing shafts in my Driver, fairways and hybrids - but I want different things from these clubs so I need different shafts.

 

Driver

I've a Ping G10 driver with a ProLaunch Red stiff shaft. The head is 9* and I feel I still hit it too high. I could change if for a lower lofted driver of course however I like the feel of the head. What would you recommend?

 

Fairways

The 13* TEE CB2 has a V2 fairway shaft in it, 66g, stiff flex. The TEE 16.5* CB3 Tour has the standard "Motore" in it. Stiff flex, 80g. I like the feel and weight of the V2 and will probably take it out of the 13* and stick it in the 16.5. Didn't like the "Motore" shaft, felt too heavy. As far as I know both shafts are mid-launch. In which case I'd like a shaft for the 13* that's a bit higher launching and around the 65-70g mark. What would you recommend?

 

Hybrid

I've got an 18* G10 and a 21* TEE XCG. The G10 had a ProLaunch Red, stiff. I felt I hit the G10 a little low. I've now put this shaft in the XCG. With the 21* hybrid I want height. I doubtful that the ProLaunch Red will deliver. What would you recommend?

If you like the V2 in your fairway, try a V2 76gram in your driver. Low torque 2.2 and stiff tip. With the weight, stiff tip and torque rating it should really cut down your spin and provide a lower more penetrating ball flight. I feel that this is the best shaft on the market for this under $100.

pro launch red shafts are supposed to be fairly decent low spin low launch shafts and easy on the wallet

Just to re-cap

I have a ProLaunch Red in my driver and want to hit it lower - What shafts will do this?
I need to re-shaft my CB2 with a mid-high launch shaft 65-75g - Which ones should I try?
I want a mid (poss even mid/high) launch shaft on my XCG hybrid - What should I do?


All on a budget - not spending more than $100 per shaft...
