Wanted to clean things up a bit

Stealth sack, no paint fill, semi stealthy head covers (a little love for the alma mater thrown in). I got tired of clashing colors, not that it means a whole lot but I just wanted to go clean instead of carrying around a bag that looked like one of my grandmother's quilts.

Inside pics at night don't really represent, the camera flash distorts things. Maybe I'll take some outside when the sun returns to Texas.

I'm a mid capper, I've played blades all my life except for a set of Titleist DCIs which I liked but really didn't hit any better than classic irons. To me the most important thing is the look of a club at address...a thick top line does not appeal to my eye and I'm quite sure any strokes I might save with more forgiving clubs are wasted when I look down at a shovel and try to take it back when I'm not feelin' it.

I love every club in this bag...I've demoed and bought others but these are the ones that have stayed in or returned to the bag. 15-20 years ago I would not be playing stock shafts in my driver or 3 wood, but the quality of the stock offerings in these clubs is so much better than in the "old days". I love the feel of the Graphite Design shafts and they both perform similarly. The IRod in the MD feels much different than these two but it's perfect for this club and I hit it so well I just don't want to mess with it.

I love the GTO grind from Nomad on the 52* wedge...really makes it versatile.

Nice setup, I agree with you about using blades, you can play those Titleists the rest of your life, no need to be a "dedicated follower of fashion". And that Titleist 983E is the only titanium driver I own, right now I'm playing persimmons, but if that changes the 983E goes back in the bag.
