What's in the bag of Six Pints?

I finally have a 21st century bag

A little background:

In a good year I get to play roughly 30-35 rounds of golf. About six of those rounds are with my hickory play set from the teens and twenties and I can shoot some halfway decent scores (80's) with equipment that's nearly a century old. So it's safe to say that I'm not completely wrapped up in modern technology. The clubs that were in my modern set while not recent were not really old in my mind. As far as I was concerned they were practically new. But still they were ten to fifteen years old...

Over the last year I've paid a little attention to my "modern" clubs and tried to assemble some implements that might allow for some improvement. Prior to the photos you see below I was using the following:

My 2009 bag...

Driver: Adams Tight Lies ST 303
Fairway: Adams Tight Lies ST 303
Irons: Tommy Armour 845's.... 1, 3-PW, SW, LW
Putter: Most recently a Cameron Futura

Here is the current line up. I do have some other stuff coming over the next couple weeks but I doubt that any of it will be better in my mind. I'm most excited to be getting a Titleist staff bag that I will surely use. You might think the driver head is a little small but I can't imagine using a larger one yet. I still pull out a Nike 275cc driver out of the closet once in a while.

Wedges: Titleist Vokey Raw 54* & 60*
Putter: Back to the Cameron Laguna I've owned since '96 (and has been 'round the Old Course)

Solid bag there, classy irons and putter as well. That is all you need to shoot good scores there. Definitely something to be said for getting grooved with a set of sticks. You can just go play the game without having a tad bit of doubt how a new bat will perform (although sometimes that's part of the fun).
