Titleist 735CM Chrome Short Review

Hi,

today I received my new irons: Titleist 735CM Chrome 3-PW NS Pro 970 stiff. My former irons were MX-17 and MX-23 (Rifle Flighted 5.5). I hit the ball quite good today but I had 40 putts and this killed my score... All I can say about this set is great. The feel with these shafts is better than the Mizuno, no joke. The distance is almost the same (the MX-23 have stronger lofts). On the 4 I hit a PW from 115 yards, it landed 18 feet off the hole and spun back to about 2 feet. I have not hit such a great shot with the MX-23. Trajectory is awesome. I have never had a 3-iron but this is so much fun to hit. 210 yards against the wind, 5 times. It was great. For players with a smooth tempo I would recommend these shafts. They give me distance and feel. I cleary made the right choice to pick up these clubs. Hope someone is interested and this helps somebody...

Glad you like your clubs. I play the Stainless model, and wouldn't trade them for any other set (within reason ) but I play the standard DGS300. I love these clubs.

I'm in the market for new irons and have my eyes set on the 735's. I know they are great irons but what is the weakness if there are any you can think of. Also, Where did you pick them up at?

I also recently became the proud owner of 735 chromes. I have TT DG shafts in mine and absolutely love these stix. My previous set were Mizuno MX-23s with flighted rifles. I plan to keep my 735s in the bag for a long time. I had a personal best GIR round with them last Sat. Only had to chip on 3 holes, used the PW all 3 times, and hit the flag stick twice! The only weakness I can think of is they are too pretty. I have become one of those knobs that uses iron covers

Haha, Well if the negative of buying these irons is that I will be amazed by the beauty I think its a good choice

Hi, It's the first time I write. I'm from Italy so excuse me for my "makkeroni-english"!

I played on sunday for the first time with these titleist with rifle PX5.5. Very happy, longer than my previous Callies x16PS (rifle 5.5), very good feeling and more forgiving as I was expecting. I flow the green 8 times and 2/3 mis hit did not cause disasters. The bad thing is they are very delicate and with the carry bag I will need neoprene head cover (they already are full of signs and little grinds).

Have had a set of 735's and I really do think it is one of the hardest sets for a manufacturer to get right, having said that I thought they were one of the best combo sets along with the Hogan FTX & Bridgestone, still had trouble with hitting the blade part well one day and the cavity well the next, I believe in the combo theory but have not met the right mix yet. Hence the MP-60's, now these are money.

I have had my 735s for aout 3 months or so now and i love them i wouldn't trade them for anything. One of the most solid sets of irons i have hit. Can't complain1

I love my 735cm's.....I have the Rifle 5.5's. They feel like butta !!!
