Since you have such a silky/pure stroke, I can only recommend the Dr. FEELGOOD Putter. I saw the infomercial today, Jack Hamm endorses it and we all know how good the Hammer was!

I think the variety of posts here makes the best point. It really depends on the individual in question. I'd recommend sticking with what you like, and if absolutely necessary add a bunch of lead tape on the bottom. Or with a studio select, get some different weights. If you keep your putterhead going the same speed, the heavier your clubhead, the farther the ball will go.

thanks to all for the various suggestions. my "miss" is not getting the ball to the hole as often as i'd like, and i'm pretty sure that's always gonna be my miss. i of course realize i can improve in that area regardless of the putter i elect to use.......and i'm constantly working on doing just that........but since face hotness is apparently a variable, i might as well choose a face that's hot, right? in sum, if putter A delivers another six inches of run out on a properly struck 25 foot putt over putter B, the putter A is for me.

It's all about depth perception. Two eyes are necessary to properly judge and feel distance. You could look at the target while you make the stroke or face the target to begin with. Pace on long putts improves even more dramatacally than direction from the "sidesaddle" position even if you don't look at the target during the stroke.

It also better solves the XY setup and stroke problem automatacally described in the Dr. Feelgood promo. It's also USGA legal while the Dr. Feelgood is not.

Heavier head/fast greens... reduces unwanted head speed.
