For a push cart

I NEVER carry my bag and I NEVER drive a cart....I always use my push cart. It's a Linksmen x-7.....kind of a Sun Mountain V2 knockoff. Any thoughts on a bag that will work well for strictly push carts? Something where the shape of the bag doesn't make it twist around and the pockets are all accessible for the most part. I don't want to break the bank but I would like to have full length dividers.

Have you looked at the Sun Mountain C130? All the pockets are accessible from the top, 14 full length dividers, cooler pocket and lots of space.

[size="3"]The design of the cart probably has alot to do with the bag twisting. The slot the bag sits in, the base the bag sits on & the straps that hold it. Been using a SM V1 for 3 years with a very large bag & never had the twisting problem. Bungee cords & a large base are used on the V1 & they work very good. Looks like the base, on your style cart, that the bottom of the bag sits on is too small, allowing it to pivot. If you have any bubba riggin skills & could make the base bigger, probably would solve your problem.[/size]

I agree with the C130. It is great on a riding cart, but also light enough to push.

SM C-130, the only bag for guys who do not need a stand bag as far as I'm concerned. Has all the pockets anyone could need, individual top separation, putter at the front, cart strap around the bag, available in some nice colors.

Jumping in here - I love the looks of the 130, and I think it would work really well on a riding cart.... But I wonder about how it would work on a push cart: since you have to put your shorter clubs in the shorter side of it, don't they then hang down and smack the shaft of your longer clubs that are underneath them?

I hate to go against the grain here....

 

I use a Bagboy Cliploc (non-revolver model) bag on my Sun Mountain Speedcart.

 

It lays perfectly in the cart, the pockets are all accessible, the 14 full dividers coupled with the cliploc pretty much eliminate any club clanging. Plus, the bag itself is fairly light. I tried the revolver style of this bag, but I liked the non revolver better.

 

The bag is "big enough" without being a bagzilla. It also sits perfectly on a riding cart.

I use the TM Catalina cart bag.. It's really light, has 9 front facing pockets, 14-way top, putter well...

I have been eyeing the new Ogio Synchro cart bag which is not a bagzilla and claims to weigh just under 7 pounds...but has a 14 way divider, pockets out the wazoo, etc. According to the Ogio website it is designed for use in push carts as well as riding carts. Anyone use one of these?

If you have a SM micro cart, you might want to check out the new SM MCB. I bought my C130 just before this came out. I'm going to check it out this weekend.

+1 for the BagBoy Clip Lock. A buddy had the Revolver but it didn't work well on his push cart. He swapped it for the Clip Lock and loves it.
