Anyone played this course recently? If so what can I expect.. My father's coming in town and I want to go somewhere relatively close to the city that's solid. Thanks.
They like most of all the course here in Atlanta are struggling with keeping they're greens. I played they're about a month ago, the fairways were nice, but the greens were ok. Not like they used to be, but I play all over (here) and lately they're all holding on. Try Crystal Lake if that's not to out of the way.

For anyone interested...I thought Wolf Creek was in solid shape. There were a few spots on the fairways here and there, but the greens were good. I've played Crystal Lakes and really enjoyed it, but would like to find a regular course closer to Midtown. I've also played at Sugar Creek a few times. It's a solid little course. Old school country club design (short and tight). The greens are always in good shape, the fairways are rough in spots, but over all it's a fun course. If anyone has any other suggestions or would like to play a round some time I'm always up for it.

The Coweta Club is a good ways south of Wolf Creek, but it is a fun course and always in good condition. Only thing I don't like is 600 yard par 5 #18 where you have to lay back w/ 3w off the tee on account of the ravine crossing the fairway. Stupid design!

Durham Lakes in Fairburn is a great layout and used to be a favorite of mine, but the greens are gone. All black mud, every last one of 'em. Don't bother - they've run out of money and I'd wager the course will close in a year's time. The condition is that bad. It's a shame, because I really like the layout.

Crystal Lakes is probably the best course on the south side. That and the Coweta Club are both worth the drive.

Adaptive Golf.....look out for the one-armed man:
If you were ok with Sugar Creek, try North Fulton also.
