Curious how it is? Did they overseed the whole course? Good shape right now? Rates are very reasonable, I played out there back in 2006 and thought is was a pretty good track? Just wanted to know if that has changed.

The wall-to-wall overseed is pretty rare these days, but I don't know for sure what the current conditions are.

 

I play there on occasion and based on previous experiences, I would have a reasonable expectation of good conditions. I like the course, fun layout and not too bad for a real estate routing. They do seem to keep it a bit on the soft side from my recollection.

 

A funny story from my last visit. My buddy was teeing off on the first hole while I was still fumbling around in my bag, finding my tees and glove etc... I get to the tee and he's looking off to the left with concern. I asked if he hit a good one and he said "I think I hit a lady!" What?? He said there was a lady reading the paper on her porch and he yanked the tee shot left and took the paper right out of her hands. We drove over there and the lady is pacing back and forth, the husband still seated, reading the paper. "Did I hit you?" my buddy asked. She took a drag from her cig, hands visibly shaking, and said "Pretty close..." The husband lowered his paper gave us the stink eye. We apologized profusely and drove off. I thought it was funny as hell but my buddy was shook up and worthless for the rest of the round. Needless to say, I won all the skins that day.
