Played course in October 2010. Views are Fantastic. Course was tight (keep driver in bag if you have any question off the tee) and was not in the best condition. For the experience of the devil's triangle (a three hole string that includes a par 3 you should start your tee shot over the ocean and let the wind blow it back into the green) and the views, it was worth the price of admission.

Played here on friday as its my "local" i live in Tortola, BVI and try and get over as often as i can for my fix which isnt often enough. Course was in really good nick. Its not the longest course out there but keeping it in play is a must. The tee game really is the key. Ended up shooting +3 which was pretty good for my first game in 6 weeks and hopping off the ferry with just enough time to get a hot dog. There is always cool wildlife, even saw deer for the first time on friday. The people are all super nice and the grill has the best burger in the Virgin Islands. Pretty easy to keep picking up the pars but most of the holes have potential to run up a big number if you get out of line. A good thing is that it never seems too busy.

 

If anyone has any questions ill be happy to answer them and yes the Devils Triangle is worth playing. Some pics from a few months ago of 16

Just got back from st. Thomas today (live in california). Course is the toughest I have ever played, and I play in palm springs area regularly. As stated, it is not long, but it is so tight that any barely off center hit catches jungle and is lost.

Holes 12-14 (devil's triangle) (I think it is 12-14) are awesome. Two on ocean and are beautiful, while the other is long and plays over a lake.

Some of the rest of the holes are fun with extremely elevated tee boxes. Driver is fun off of those holes, as ball goes forever.

All of that said, I brought my wife and she became extremely frustrated with this course. She caught every bad bounce imaginable, and got frustrated. She did think the course was pretty, though. However, had I known how tough the course was, I would not have taken her along.

I did rent clubs, and I can say that the rental clubs are great. All taylormade burners (2.0 for irons) for men and women. Ghost putter, too, though I was not impressed with putter.

Further, the staff was great, and everyone that works there seems to play there often as well. It is obvious that all staff care about the course.

Summarily, the course is fun and tough, but is a bit overpriced for it's condition, etc. However, it is certainly worth a play at least once to try out the "devil's triangle.". I would recommend twilight rates if the twilight time is feasible, as the twilight rate is somewhat reasonable.

All in all, it is worth a play if you are in st. Thomas, but it is overpriced for what it is.

The day I was there, I couldn't believe how far out over the water that you'd have to start your tee shot to let the wind bring it back towards the green. I didn't borrow nearly enough, and ended up on that side hill right and just short of the green.

Fun time, but I'd go back only to have another crack @ 16
