WOW! I Just Discovered the V Steel

After searching for new fairway woods for the past month, I just picked up a pair of new 3 and 5 V Steel Fairway woods. I could not believe how good these felt, ease of hitting off deck, and long they are. I recently have either bought or demoed the r7 ti and st, X Fairway, G5, and Fusion. The V steel outperformed all of these! Sometimes newer isn't always better.

Welcome to the club mx-20...newer isn't always better, you're right. And since TM wants to sell the current r7 fairway woods, the V-Steels are reasonably priced. I have never felt anything like them... got Accra shafts put in mine... what a feel!

Newer isn't always better is true! I've got 962's that battle constantly for space in the bag and I still play the Titleist PT... Congrats on finding a good combo for you!

Nice heads, horrible shafts. The V steel clubs are great with the nv 85.

the v steel is awesome, My only fw is a v steel 3w with a fuji pro95X. great combo. i'm kinda thinking i'd like to try the 906, but it would take something pretty special to knock the v steel out (not sure it's possible to be honest)

I have the 3wood with stock steel TT shaft, if I catch it right, I can hit this farther than my driver. Alot of times I try to use it on a short par 4 dogleg, and wind up driving over the fairway. Thinking of getting the 5 wood "just to have it". At 100 bucks, cant go wrong.

I just picked up one too. Even tho its a little beat Im still lovin it. Been searching for a good 3 wood and finally found it.

If you think the V Steel is an old fairway that's great, you should try the Trimetal Plus. That thing is bar none the easiest to hit fairway wood ever. Period.
