735CM vs. 695MB

differences between these two?

My concern is simply weight, feel, and spin characteristics. The feel of the 735 is what I would call simply ok. Just a little harder than what I want but not bad. Wanting to know just how much more forgiving is the 735 than the 695. Also the main thing I dislike about the 735 ( chrome ) seems to be lack of spin it puts on the golf ball. I am not able to hit the 695 and would love some reviews. Thanks

I bought my 735's from a club pro that said they are easier to hit than the 695.CB's even. The soles are gonna be a lot wider on the 735's. Spin has been quite good for me with the 735's. After all, who wants to spin a 7 iron off the green? ;) They hit and stick quite nicely. Sorry, haven't hit the 695.MB, but based on the club pro's comments, the 695.MB is going to be a long way from the 735's as far as forgiveness. The 735's were a really nice surprise for me as far as their ease of use. You can shape them, but they aren't so touchy that you can't just play them for a straight ball either. They have also hit the ball long and with a great trajectory for me. Mid-high and soft landing, even the long irons. 735=

Its easy, Forgiveness where you need it, and workability where you dont need forgiveness.

FYI- The soles on the 735's are a bit thinner than the 695 cb's.

 

Both look the same. A bit more offset in the scoring irons on the 695's than the 735's. The 4 iron is the same.

 

I liked having the cavity for the scoring irons. Gave me some added forgiveness and all the workability. I have a natural high ball flight, so the 695 cbs work great for me.
