My Bent Creek Trip

So had a 4 man better ball yesterday at Bent Creek Country Club for my companies outing (part of Giant's "Our Kids" golf outing, which raised 2.3 million this year for the Childrens Miracle Network) and I decided to snap some pictures. The course plays beautifully with some borderline perfect greens, only qualm I had was the sand traps this year (our second time playing) did seem to have rocks on certain holes, especially in the fairway bunkers. Fortunately, we didn't hit a bunker all day so it really wasn't an issue. We actually came in second for our course, just barely missed taking home a trophy.

If possible, and I don't know that it is, get up to this place. It's a great great track that, while not being long (think it's only 6700-6800 yards), forces you to be strategic with your tee shots and challenges your 2nd shots. It's fun, it's challenging and it looks great. Nothing but farmland around it but damn if it's not a great track. :)
