A good memory that I have from Paul Lawrie was off the twelfth tee on the second day of this years BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.

The twelfth is a par 5 playing 531 yards and I watched virtually the whole field go off with driver apart from him who went with the 19 degree TM hybrid, smashed it with a high draw clearly carrying the two trees into perfect position and finishing not far back from some of the shorter hits with the driver.

Fair play to him as it's quite an intimidating tee shot especially with a rescue club !
