Titleist Regional Fitting Centers?

I'm thinking about getting fit for a new driver and have a titleist regional fitting center nearby. I was wondering if anyones had any experiences and if you get to leave that day with your new driver, or does it have to get ordered out?

This probably doesn't help seeing how late it is, but i did get fitted at the at a local course and then again at the Manchester Lance facility in Mass. My experience was that either way they ordered it and had to wait for it to come it. From Manchester Lane, they just do fitting and then send your specs to you via email to take to your local store to order the club. If they recommended an "exotic" shaft, it can take 2-4 weeks for the club to come in. I would expect the same to happen to the fitting facilities in between.

I was going to get fit at a regional center at Sleepy Hollow County Club in New York....until I found out how much they want, It is a tad out of control the prices they ask especially when the cost does not even go towards the price of the clubs if you purchase them! I would rather go to a place that is ranked in the top 100 club fitters in america by golf digest and they will have almost everything a place like a regional center would for all the different companies and I think you will get more for your money especially if they put the fitting cost towards the purchase of a set! I do not think it is worth getting that in depth with fitting until your playing for money or your on a tour level or trying to get a scholarship for golf. Getting a normal fitting to know your specs and then trying different clubs and shafts has always been good enough for me but as I get ready for college in hilton head for golf and inspire to play for money, I might then go more in depth with my fitting!
