I started a thread in the Instruction forum and have posted some updates on what I'm doing. I took one of my first videos at the range on 9-8 and want to get some help from the WRX.

 

I had played what I call a "pop out" draw, basically set up square to the target, ball starts about 5 yards to the right of the target and works back to the line. I played it from when I was in high school until about a year ago when I had some lower back problems. I lost a lot of flexibility and started hitting a fade without trying to do something different. I really didn't lose any distance once I got back in shape and was a lot more consistent, so I have stuck with it.

 

My problem is I have been fighting a duck hook for the past couple of months. I am really losing confidence off the tee which has me shooting back in the low 80s (84 two weeks ago on a par 70).

I wish i had your handicap problems. Could you be finishing the hands sooner than normal and decelerating the hips; In that case practice swing finishing your body pivot.
If you dont practice a draw anymore shut hips and closing hands could get it turning left.

Swing Flaws.
1. Not clearing your lower body properly. The reason why i say this... the culprit is your right foot at the finish. foot should be vertical position.
(It looks however that in your practice swing your clearing your lower body.)
2. Your falling a little off balance. falling backwards at the end of the swing. But can also go along with not clearing properly.

Setup
1, You could also try putting your hand position at address a touch more foward for those nasty hooks.
2. Setting the club more up more on the hozel at address. It looks like you tend to hit golf balls on the toe. Toe hits tend to draw the ball.
3. Wider stance - Might help the balance issue. Might free up the lower body.
