End of Season Golf swing.

I have been working on my swing, with a few changes here and there. I am still sliding to my right too much, but I've noticed that my lower body is moving, but my head is staying pretty still in my swing. Any tips or cretiques on my swing is more than welcome. I dont have a DTL, and this was on my golf trip to Branson earlier this week.

Damn, are you swinging a regular flex shaft? I would consider a stiffer shaft.

Its a stiff flex. I think its the camera that makes it look so flimsey.

looks pretty nice to me. not overly mechanical. your not sliding back much it seems and the camera angle makes it dufficult to tell your actual amount of slide vs rotation. you have a fairly nice flat hip rotation. A local coach around here says that the hips actually rotate at a 17 degree angle on average in a pros swing. and that is just part of posting up the front leg. As long as your not yanking out of place. i say it appears pretty technically sound and simple to me from this angle. even ben hogan slid forward of address. if you look at his swing analasis you will see an initial weight transfer to create coil.

I notice one awkward move though. Your front leg will actually rotate on the ball your front foot so you can clear your hips. Not a big deal. Have you ever seen a swing analysis of bubba watson. His feet literally are all over the place. The most non textbook swing; but it put him in position on fairways to be the highest percentage of greens in reg for 2011. So you know what happens to textbooks,? They get outdated.
personally i will ride up on the ridge of the outside of my foot. My way would probably leave alot of people with sprained ankles. Its a hip flexor flexibility thing. Not all of us can be like rory mcilroy. Have you ever seen how far that guy can rotate over his front foot planted. If i tryed it like him i would end with either a dislocated hip, knee, or ankle.

I do see you sliding into the ball a little bit. I really would like to see some spine tilt away from the target at setup. This might help the slide with the hips. You have a good spine tilt at impact but i think your throwing your hips to the right because of this.

Ive noticed when I really try to hit the ball hard, I move my front foot more. This swing in the video was a nice controlled swing for me. I need to work on my hipflexors this offseason. That's one thing i need to work on for sure. So thanks for pointing that out. I appreciate the feedback.

I am going to put a pick of my set up with some of the pros to see what it looks like, but i believe that is what you're talking about. The lie was a tad bit downhill.
