After playing with Ping Eye2's for years I finally changed sets and went with the TP combo set two seasons ago. I love them. Great feel and the blade short irons are easy to control distance and trajectory. After 2 years of beating balls the irons are definitely starting to show some wear (8 and 9 iron have the finish completely worn off of the face and rust occasssionally) I am leaning towards the full TP MB set, which I can always swap in my TP 5 and 6 iron if I really wanted to, or the MP-32's. Back to topic, this TP combo set is fantastic!

I have owned several tour sets. Love the brushed satin finish.

The MB short irons are a nice match to the more forgiving CB long and middle irons. The tour sets are reported to be forged by Miura so feel is very good as you'd expect.

Short irons are precise and flight the ball high on full shots and knock downs are a snap. True scoring clubs. Long and mid irons are very 'blade like"even though they are CB. Small heads with thin top lines and no off-set to speak of.

These are ideal for the better player looking for some additional forgivness in the long and mid irons but looking to maintain shot making capability.

Highly Recommended for a better player.

Dont think the sets you buy in stores are forged by miura. if so please correct me so i can go grab a set next year.

It is my understanding that only about 500 sets of these irons the mb/cb pictured above were actually forged by Miurain 2003 and possibly some in 2004 . Although different sites use different numbers. They should have a serial number only on the 5 iron and say coin.forged on the hosel. I own 2 sets of the mb/cb and one set of all c/b irons, the cavity backs have CB on the hosel. And yes these are some of the nicest hitting irons on the market. The nice thing about these irons is you don't have to great to play them, but they will make you better. Hope this helps, play well.
